HBF organizes monthly craft nights at local retirement and nursing homes. We partnerwith local Arts departments to design cards for annual holidays such as Valentines Dayand Christmas.
Local school choir and band groups volunteer to perform for retirees during the holidayseason. Retirees and students are also offered group lessons occasionally.
Annually highschool and middle school volunteers nationally spread holiday cheer inretirement homes by caroling for residents.
HBF is proud to partner with local organizations to organize family visits for retirees without of state families. These mini-reunions enable retirees to maintain in person contactwith family.
Game nights provide retirees with a range of mentally & physically active, onsiteactivities and feature prizes provided by HBF. Prizes include gift cards, board games,room essentials.
HBF would like to thank our partners for helping us organize our annual Charity GolfTournaments.
Boating provides retirees with an off-site outdoor activity. Boating trips are usuallyconducted on a monthly basis in the spring and summer.
Students schedule bird watching tours with retirees independently through our portal.These trips showcase the long lasting mentorship that is fostered through our organizedprograms.
Fishing and Kayaking trips are similarly independently scheduled programs, but arefunded by HBF. Contact us directly for details on our waterfront programming.
